| Issue: | The manufacturer has identified a potential problem associated with the magnetic charging interface (MagCode) of the corpuls3-SLIM/SLIM Touch Modules. Increased contact resistance may develop within the magnetic charging interface of the corpuls3-SLIM/SLIM Touch. This may occur due to: · material combinations with differing thermal expansion characteristics; · electrochemical effects such as oxidation or corrosion arising from different material potentials · wear, contamination, or aging of the contact surfaces. As a result, the following effects may occur: · localised heat generation at the charging interface; · visible discolouration, deformation, or scorching of the connector or cable; · elevated surface temperature at the charging contact. This problem is limited to the charging interface only and does not affect monitoring, therapy, or alarm functions. |
