| Issue: | A software error has been identified in the Dexcom G7 iOS / G7 Watch iOS app (versions 2.9.0–2.11.2) and the Dexcom ONE+ iOS app (versions 1.5–1.6). When the app has been running in the background for some time, bringing it to the foreground may cause it to flicker through previous glucose values (EGVs) and trend arrows before showing the current reading. This behaviour can delay glucose alerts and alarms. If a user is unaware that the displayed glucose value or trend arrow is outdated, or if an alert is delayed, there is a risk of missed detection of a hyperglycaemic or hypoglycaemic event, or of making a treatment decision based on incorrect information. Users operating older Dexcom ONE+ app versions may experience reduced performance due to this issue and should update to the latest app version. |
