| Issue: | The manufacturer has recently identified that two lots of Dexcom G7 sensors - originally designated as scrap and intended for destruction - were stolen during the destruction process and subsequently sold by third parties in the United States. These products have since been distributed globally through unauthorised supply channels and are available for purchase online. The affected sensors were scrapped due to an elevated internal testing failure rate. Dexcom US is working closely with government authorities to investigate this incident and to ensure patient safety. |
