| Issue: | There is a potential for Medtronic programmer and remote monitoring software applications to display an inaccurate remaining longevity estimate for a subset of implanted cardiac devices. It is important to note this is not a battery performance issue and there is no impact to device functionality. The Recommended Replacement Time (RRT) remains an accurate indicator for device replacement. Longevity estimates early after implantation and later in the device life are unaffected. The manufacturer is releasing the first of two waves of updates to correct this issue. |
