Date of the last (46th) MCC meeting: 15 November 2011
Classification changes recommended at the 46th meeting will be published in the Gazette in February 2012
Date for the next (47th) MCC meeting: 1 May 2012
The agenda for the 47th meeting will be available for comment in February 2012.
Most recent Gazette notices:
8 September 2011: Notice to reclassify pseudoephedrine as a prescription medicine only.
18 August 2011: Notice to widen public access to oseltamivir and to gazette lovastatin.
4 August 2011: This notice puts in effect changes recommended by the Medicines Classification Committee at its 45th meeting on Tuesday 12 April 2011.
The most recent update to the First Schedule to the Medicines Regulations, Medicines Amendment Regulations 2011, came into effect on 1 August 2011. Please note that Gazette notices published after 1 August 2011 need to be taken into account when seeking the classification of a medicine. The Schedule of Classifications on this site provides the current classification status of all scheduled medicines.
