Most recent Gazette notices:
14 August 2008: Cumulative notice containing all changes since the publication of Medicines Amendment Regulations 2006 on 24 July 2006. There are no new changes in this notice.
The most recent update to the First Schedule to the Medicines Regulations, Medicines Amendment Regulations 2006, came into effect on 24 July 2006. Please note that Gazette notices published after 24 July 2006 need to be taken into account when seeking the classification of a medicine. The ‘Schedule of Classifications’ on this site provides the current classification status of all scheduled medicines.
Note also that the amendment to the Medicines Regulations which was published in 2007 did not include an update to the First Schedule. An update the the First Schedule is due for publication later this year.
Closing Dates
- Submissions for the 40th meeting closed: 31 July 2008
- Submissions for the 41st meeting close: 31 January 2009
- Intention to object to a recommendation made at the 39th meeting together with a statement of the grounds on which the objection will be made: 19 September 2008
- Supporting data for objections to recommendations made at the 39th meeting: 17 October 2008
- Comments on agenda items for the 40th meeting: 17 October 2008
