Date for the next (42nd) MCC meeting: 3 November 2009
Changes recommended at the 41st meeting have been implemented as part of an amendment to Schedule 1 of the Medicines Regulations 1984. The amendment came into effect on 7 August 2009.

Most recent Gazette notices:
6 August 2009: Notice to bring into effect an amendment to Schedule 1 of the Medicines Regulations 1984 and to implement changes recommended at the 41st meeting.
9 July 2009: Notice to facilitate supply of oseltamivir during the Influenza A (H1N1) Swine Flu pandemic.
22 June 2009: Notice to facilitate supply of certain antibiotics and anti-viral medicines from community-based assessment centres during the Influenza A (H1N1) Swine Flu pandemic.
The most recent update to the First Schedule to the Medicines Regulations, Medicines Amendment Regulations 2009, came into effect on 7 August 2009. Please note that Gazette notices published after 7 August 2009 need to be taken into account when seeking the classification of a medicine. The Schedule of Classifications on this site provides the current classification status of all scheduled medicines.
