Classification changes recommended at the 46th meeting were published in the Gazette on 2 February 2012.
Date for the next (47th) MCC meeting: 1 May 2012
The agenda for the 47th meeting will be available for comment in February 2012.
Most recent Gazette notices:
2 February 2012: This notice puts in effect the changes recommended by the Medicines Classification Committee at its 46th meeting on Tuesday 15 November 2011 and keeps in effect changes recommended at the 45th meeting on Tuesday 12 April 2011. This cumulative notice also keeps in effect changes published in Gazette notices on 18 August 2011 and 8 September 2011.
The most recent update to the First Schedule to the Medicines Regulations, Medicines Amendment Regulations 2011, came into effect on 1 August 2011. Please note that Gazette notices published after 1 August 2011 need to be taken into account when seeking the classification of a medicine. The Schedule of Classifications on this site provides the current classification status of all scheduled medicines.
